2. What are the benefits of GIGABYTE Passport? GIGABYTE Passport provides you fully access to value-added web services such as participating web games, and subscribing newsletter…etc. In the future, GIGABYTE will provide more product focus services, for example, product registration, personalized product information and download notification, product repair status inquiring…etc.

3. Who are qualified to apply GIGABYTE Passport?
  1. GIGABYTE product buyer
  2. anyone who has great interests in GIGABYTE products
  3. anyone who has great interests in GIGABYTE web games
  4. anyone who has great interests in GIGABYTE

4. How to change display language of GIGABYTE Passport web site? Click on "Set up display language"

5. How to apply GIGABYTE Passport account?
  1. Click on “Apply Passport”
  2. Fill out the form, then the System will automatically send an Account Confirmation to your registered e-mail address.
  3. Click on “Confirm” button in this e-mail to finish activating the GIGABYTE Passport account.

6. What is GIGABYTE Passport Account Confirmation (subscription confirmation) e-mail? After filling out the form, the System will automatically send an Account Confirmation to your registered e-mail address. This process is to ensure that your e-mail is not used by others. Click on “Confirm” button in this e-mail to finish activating the GIGABYTE Passport account.

7. When do I need to log in GIGABYTE Passport?
  1. When you want to modify your personal information and password
  2. When you want to access GIGABYTE web services (ex. participating web games, subscribing newsletter, products registration..etc.)

8. When do I need to log out GIGABYTE Passport? To ensure the security of your personal information, please log out your GIGABYTE Passport account after using it.

9. How to change my personal information? Click on “Modify Personal Info” to change your personal information.

10. How to change my password? Click on “Modify Password” to change your password. The System will automatically send new password notification to this e-mail owner to ensure your e-mail is not used by others.

11. How to set up secure password? Please set up a 8-to-12-letters password which contains English letters and numbers to protect your personal information.

12. What can I do if I forgot my password?
  1. Click on "Forget Password".
  2. Enter your registered e-mail address.
  3. The System will automatically send a random password to your e-mail.
  4. Please use this random password to reset your password when click on “Modify Password.

13. What should I do if I did not receive the activation email after my online registration? It usually takes less than one hour to receive your activation email. However, it may take up to 12 hours if the email server is busy. If you have not received the activation email 24 hours after your online registration, you may also have the system resend you an activation email via the “Resend Register E-mail” function.
Following are possible reasons that you did not receive the activation email.
  1. The activation email was categorized as “Junk Mails” by your email server.
  2. Your email account may have anti-spam application to filter emails. These accounts are usually provided by your company, ICP, ISP or free online email service providers.
  3. The email server of your account is busy or inefficient.

14. I have tried “Resend Register E-mail” several times but I still have not received the activation email. What should I do? If you have encountered above situation, please continue with the following steps:
  1. Contact your email serivce provider (or MIS department) to see if an anti-spam application was installed on your email. If so, please include contact@gigabyte.com.tw in your safe list to receive the activation email.
  2. Use the “Resend Register E-mail” function while the network traffic is high. Also check the “Notice GIGABYTE Passport web administrator for assistence” checkbox to have our service staff to manually resend you the activation email.
  3. If you still cannot receive the activation email from our service staff, please register with other email.

15. What should I do when I see “the email you input is invalid” popup? Please check if the email you input has the following situation:
  1. The email has erroneous format.
  2. The email has characters other than alphabets A to Z, numbers 0 to 9, “_”, “-” and “.”
